Ugh

I do not like my new haircut. Its too... blah. Quite like the fringe but the rest of it not so much... it is somewhere between boy cut and bob and when you've just got used to having it just to your shoulders that kind of cut just doesn't look right. It is just really annoying. I keep wanting to put it in a pony tail or something.

In other news I started watching Lost again. Have just watched the Juliet episode "The Other Women" and am slightly annoyed at the whole "Mine" thing. Also where is the Juliet/Sawyer that I keep seeing hints of around the internet. Do not want Jack/Juliet want Sawyer/Juliet or just Juliet. Why is Juliet not as awesome this season?

Sorry about the haircut, dear.

Oooh, you're at a great part of the series. The end of S4 is pretty intense. You'll have to be patient for the Sawyer&Juliet action.

Meh, its sort of growing on me, as in I no longer want to pull it out and start again! I think I'm just realising that what I really wanted was to grow it for a bit. And of course, bit late now.

As to Lost, yayness! I'm actually really enjoying the season so far. Actually quite liked Kate's episode, all the Locke-Ben scenes are just brilliant and there is lots and lots of shirtless Sayid and Sawyer. What more could a fan girl want? Except you know less of the turning awesome women characters in to something out of Gothic horror and for gods sake give Claire something to do!

Oh, Kate's episode has such a classic LOST ending. One where I'm left going "Wait... what, huh, I don't understand." I'm always torn on the Locke-Ben scenes. I love Ben (keep an eye out for his episode 'Shape of Things to Come' later this season), but I can't stand Locke. I guess the scenes are usually nice because, more often then not, they consist of Ben explaining to Locke that he actually knows nothing at all. I always feel like the show vastly underestimates how awesome Claire could be. I want to see her as a strong mother who will do anything to protect the baby. Instead we get to watch the other survivors protect her and the baby - not nearly as cool.

And what do you think of our new S4 characters?

To be honest I didn't really pay much attention to them. Mainly because I thought that they were canon fodder rather than characters we were meant to be paying attention to. Right lets see... Charlotte doesn't seem to have much of personality yet but, having just finished the season, it looks like she is going to have at least an important subplot so I look forward to getting to know her a bit more. Faraday is adorable. I loved him in Desmond's episode. But what I like about him is that he might be sweet and a bit bumbling but at the same time he was going to leave Juliet and the rest on the island. I like "the new guys Sawyer" because, hey snarky and practical, just my type, also I think that they used his "power" really well. And the pilot guy was pretty cool.

I can see where you are coming from with the whole not liking Locke thing and I can't say that I like him particularly but I do think that he is a really fascinating, messed up character who is an essential part of the show so... yeah he annoys me, but I don't mind because I think that you are meant to find him frustrating. Also I adore every scene with him and Ben. Seriously Ben is such a good character.

I do find it odd though when people start talking about Jack being the lead because I can barely remember what he did this season. Ben now officially owns this show, the other characters are merely his chess pieces to move as he will.

Actually my favourite characters on the show are Sun and Jin so you can imagine that I was quite upset by the ending. I just love them as a couple. They were so flawed and real and loved each other no matter what. Actually my best moment of the season was Sun's scene with her father because, seriously, she was awesome.

See the writers can write brilliant, real, awesome female characters. Why are there not more of them? Why are they not using Claire to her full potential? I was hoping that the Claire stuff at the end of the forth season signalled her being more involved in the actual plot but I guess not?
