I like Autumn and Matty. They represent the nice kids in Harry's class, of which there are quite a lot, but after all you can be nice and practical at the same time.
Also I reckon that Harry's earlier years were probably a lot better than the snapshot that we see in the first chapters of the first book. After all we hear that he did get pocket money at one point and (bad) presents on the apropriate occasions. But as he grew up his magic got more noticable and Petunia found it more and more difficult to convice herself that he was normal and the attempts to squash the magic began to get more well moreish.
