42 would be the very worst episode of DW ever were it not for the dreaded Lazurus Experiemnt. Honestly, mid-S3, what were the writers doing?
See I prefer the Lazarus Experiment to 42, after all we do get the Doctor in a tux, Martha being quite awesome and explosions where as 42 is just dull, dull, dull. Personally I think that they were saving up all their writing mojo for the finale. Which can I just say, favourite season finale, ever.
I don't make it a habit of defending Rose, but they only brought her back once. They brought Martha back twice as many times.
See that is true, but I don't mind that as much, partly because I just like Martha more now but also because I just feel that they didn't really do anything with Rose when they brought her back. Martha I feel that tehy did a good job of showing how she had moved on from the Doctor, got her life back on track etc, Rose... I would have loved it if she had been coming back to save the universe and was shown to have grown as an independent person in the mean time but instead it seemed like she had literally spent the whole two years finding a way to get back to the Doctor just because she couldn't live with out him. I don't know, I really don;t want to get in to the whole ship wars thing and actually I don't ship either of them with the Doctor so... Donna pwns both of them, hah! ;) Bring Donna back!!!
I demand your write that Doctor/Master scenes. Just for the CRAX.
No, seriously no, not only do I have at least five things I need to write before that but I am also terrified of writing Time Lords, seriously, you don't know how scared I am of trying the get in side their heads. That is why I don't write Who fic!!!
